DESCRIPTION:
A typical, antique building, recently renovated, is where the apartment Avimer 31 is located. Up to six persons can stay in this beautiful and stylish place. Its situation, in el Barrio Gotico and close to the sea permits the vistor to enjoy two of the most important symbols of Barcelona, the old neighbourhood of Barrio Gotico and the sea. The apartment is situated in a quiet street close to the Iglesia de la Merce, a very animated street with a lot of leisure posibilities. br>
The apartments dispose of a spacious double room with double bed, wardrobe and decorated mirrors in a young and laid back style. There is another double room with two single beds.The living room, the most important room of the apartment, is fully furnitured and has a TV, stereo tower, cupboards with tourist guides about Barcelona and books and a sofa-bed where two more persons can sleep. A kitchen which is fully equipped and the bathroom complete the entourage of this great apartment.

WHERE IS THE APARTMENT:
How to arrive:
If you come by plane to Prat airport, you can take the Aerobús or the train (RENFE) until Plaça Catalunya. Once there, the most recommended way is taking a taxi until de apartment (5€ aprox.) or to take the metro until Drassanes (line 3 ) and walk about 5 minutes. If you come from Girona airport, you must take the Sagales bus to Norte Bus Station, close to Arco Triunfo, where you will take the metro line (L1) to Plaza Catalunya. From there, you will take metro L3 until Drassanes (line 3 ).
If you arrive by train, from Sants station you can take directly the metro and stop in Drassanes (line 3 ). Then, walk about 5 minutes to reach the apartment.
The area
Apartment located between the Gothic Quarter and the sea, in a quiet pedestrian street of the Old Town of Barcelona., near from Mercè Church and separated by one street from the Paseo Colón, a wide road open to the harbour and the sea and Maremagnum. Excelent location to let you plan your visits by foot to most sights: the sea, las Ramblas, Maremagnum, Museo Picasso, Born, Santa María del Mar, etc.

Two metro lines (green and yellow) and several buses will let you travel around the city without any problem. When the night arrives it's time to enjoy the nocturnal Barcelona. And don' t worry, you don' t have to search too much because the area is plenty of restaurants, pubs and tradicional 'tascas'.
