DESCRIPTION:
This large and light flat has the privilege of being located in the Eixample Quarter, one of the most centric and quite areas in Barcelona. This apartment is perfect for long and short stays due to its large number of facilities as well as the fact it was refurbished recently.
The flats of the Eixample Quarter are known for their majestic style thanks to their large rooms, their typical high ceilings -which are decorated with classical motifs- and the traditional atmosphere of the area. Also, one of the most important values of this apartment is its large terrace with 123 m2. Here, the guest will be able to have a quite breakfast, reading a book or have a relax time enjoying the bright sun of the Catalan city.

The apartment, which can hold up to 6 people, is distributed in the following way:
Double room equipped with two single beds but which can be put together. It has a big wardrobe, chest of drawers, 2 bedside tables and air conditioning. This bedroom is communicated with the terrace by a typical old door. Both of them are at the same level.
Double room with two single beds. It disposes of a large wardrobe and 1 chest of drawer.
Wide living room equipped with a double sofa bed, music system, TV, DVD and table for the dinner. Also, there is an annexe area known in Spain like "tribuna" which enjoys natural light thank to its large windows. This small "room" is provided with two armchairs and 1 standard lamp, so that you can have a relaxing time.

Fully refurbished kitchen equipped with all kind of stuff to make easy the guest stay. Among them, you will find microwave, mixer, juice squeeze, coffee machine, tea pot, toaster, dishes machine, fridge, oven, electric stove, cutlery and pots and pans.
Among the general facilities the flat has air conditioning, heating and fans. Also, it disposes of iron, tumble dryer and cradle.

How to arrive:
You can reach the apartment easily from the airports and the main train stations. From El Prat airport, take the train or the Aerobus until Plaça Catalunya. From there, the easiest and most comfortable way is to take a taxi (costs aprox. 6€). Otherwise, you can take the metro and stop at Girona station (you need to transfer once). From Girona airport, take the bus that brings you to Barcelona and that leaves you near Tetuan station. Then, you can walk for 7 minutes aprox. in order to reach the apartment.
From Sants station, take the metro directly and stop at Girona station (need to transfer once).
The area
Bailen apartment is in a strategic location, in a quiet and very safe area, where you will find a friendly neighbourhood and a lively commercial and leisure zone plenty of shops, markets, restaurants, etc. Moreover, the main landmarks can be reached easily either on foot or by public transport. The Gothic quarter and the Gracia area, two of the highlights of Barcelona are just 10 minutes walking from the apartments.
If you prefer moving around with public transportation, no problem! At a walking distance of less than 1 minute, you'll find 2 metro lines (yellow and purple) and many bus lines that will take you almost anywhere without transfer: Barcelona beaches, Barri Gòtic, Port Vell and Maremagnum, Picasso museum, Macba, Parc Güell, Sagrada Família, Pg. de Gràcia, Pl. Espanya, trade fair.
