RESIDENCE INFORMATION
The residence, built in the Normandy style, is in a residential area, 250 m from the beach and close to the shops. Supermarket 200 m away and town centre a 15-minute walk or 5-minute drive away.
ARRIVAL/ DEPARTURE
- TIMES: Arrivals between 5 and 8 p.m. on Saturday. In case of late arrival, please inform the residence.
Departures before 10 a.m. on Saturday
- RECEPTION: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to noon and from 3-to-7 p.m. Saturday from 8-to-10 a.m. and from 5-to-8 p.m. Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon. Closed on Wednesdays.
- DEPOSIT: € 200 to be paid on arrival, refunded when you leave after the inventory.
- VISITOR’S TAX payable on site (for information only)

The surrounding area
Clairefontaine racecourse: internationally famous for top-class horse racing and sales. There is also the La Touques race course.
The batteries at Mont Canisy: in Bénerville sur Mer, the natural site of Mont-Canisy overlooks the sea from an altitude of 110 m. Guided tour of its fortified installations, batteries and underground gallery (about 2 hours).
"Belle Epoque" Automobile Museum in Pont-L’Evêque.
Sea and Desert Museum in Villerville
Aquarium / Vivarium at Trouville: display of aquatic wildlife in over 60 aquariums and vivariums (open all year round).

Cheese Museum in Livarot: reconstruction of a traditional farm dairy and cheese dairy.
Bishops’ Manor House in Canapville: classified as a historical monument and lived in by its owners.
The 13th century tower and the two15th century half-timbered manor houses seem totally unchanged.
Chateau des Ducs de Normandie at Bonneville-sur-Touques: William the Conqueror’s residence.
Remains of a 11th and 12th century fortress.
Chateau de Canon at Mezidon-Canon: a perfect example of 18th century architecture. Anglo-French gardens covering 12 ha.
Château de Crèvecoeur at Crèvecoeur-en-Auge: medieval site, 12th century wall and chapel. 15th and 16th century half-timbered buildings.
Chateau de St-Germain-de-Livet: the 15th and 16th century chateau, a real jewel of the Pays d’Auge, is a combination of a traditional half-timbered manor house and a varnished brick residence. The chateau contains entirely contemporary furniture.
Zoo: Cerza, the zoological site at Hermival-les-Vaux. 300 animals roaming free in 50 ha. Specialises in breeding threatened species. Possible to tour the Safari park on a little train.
Stud farms ("haras"): The Préaux stud farm and Sens stud farm at
Beuvron-en-Auge.
Normandy Bridge: lying between the Côte d’Albâtre and the Côte Fleurie, this masterpiece with its airy architectural design, enhanced by the natural setting of the Seine estuary, is well worth going to see.

HOW TO GET THERE
By road:
A13 motorway, then RN 177 towards Trouville/Deauville. Take the Avenue de la République towards Tourgeville, then the street on the right before the Total petrol station.
By train:
Trouville/Deauville railway station.
By air:
Deauville St-Gatien Airport (7 km away).
