RESIDENCE INFORMATION
Sea Quiberon French ResortSmall 3-storey residence surrounded by attractive green spaces and flowerbeds, with a swimming pool, situated in a quiet district 1 minute's walk from the town centre and the main shops. The beach is 300 m from the residence.
ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE
- TIMES: Arrivals on Saturday between 5 p.m. and 8 pm. (weekdays between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.).
Please contact reception if you will be arriving outside these times.
Departures on Saturday before 10 a.m.
- RECEPTION: Monday – Friday: 9 a.m. to noon and 3-to-7 p.m. Saturday: 8-to-10 a.m. and 5-to-8 p.m. 
Sunday: 10 to noon. Closed on Wednesdays.
- DEPOSIT: € 200 to be paid on arrival and refunded when you leave, after the inventory. 
- VISITOR'S TAX to be paid on site

Discovering the region
In the Morbihan region in southern Brittany, between Carnac and Lorient, the Quiberon peninsula enjoys an exceptional climate with over 2,000 hours of sunshine per year.
Formerly France’s leading sardine port, Quiberon is now a charming seaside resort located at the heart of a wild and colourful peninsula. Come and relax in this spot famous for its climate, its seawater therapy centre and its cultural and sports activities.
The resort
Sea Quiberon French ResortQuiberon, a seaside and health resort lying on a peninsula, has retained all its old-fashioned charm, with its beautiful shorelines, beaches, port, fish auction and the famous Côte Sauvage.
It has a large number of shops making for a lively small town, together with an attractive marina, a renowned seawater therapy centre and a casino with 70 slot machines.
The town is very focused on the sea and there is a wide range of sport and leisure activities to choose from.
Explore the Côte Sauvage on the coastal footpath (reserved for walkers only). Designated a protected site by the French Coast Protection Agency, the Côte Sauvage (‘Wild Coast’) is a unique spot, whose contours, rocks, cliffs and creeks are much loved by artists and photographers...
Neighbouring islands: Belle-Ile-en-Mer (20 km long and 9 km wide), Houat (at the tip of the peninsula, 5 km long and 1.3 km wide) and Hoëdic, the smallest island (2.5 km long and 1 km wide).
Carnac: the megaliths, Menec, Kermario and Kerlescan menhirs, St-Michel and Kercado burial chambers, and the Mané-Kerioned dolmens.
La Trinité sur Mer, a lively place with its big sailing races and marina, offering a multitude of boat trips.
The Gulf of Morbihan (Ile aux Moines, Ile d’Arz etc.), Ria d’Etel (the port and Saint Cado island).
Historical towns (Vannes, Sainte-Anne d’Auray, Josselin etc.) and megalithic villages (Locmariaquer, Erdeven etc.).

Many fine sand beaches, Port Haliguen sailing school (dinghies, catamarans, windsurfing) and Beg Rohu National Sailing School (approved by the French Ministry of Youth and Sport), sand yachting, canoeing school, horseriding (approx. 1.5 km away), tennis (2 clubs approx. 1 km away).
Guided tours of the fish auction market, fishing on foot, etc.
Miniature golf 200 m from the residence.
Aviation: Quiberon Air Club (pilot school, aeroplane trips).
Les Niniches confectioners and La Belle-Iloise canning factory (guided tours by Presqu’île de Quiberon).
Walks along Port Maria and Port Haliguen.
Open-air events, Sardine Festival, sailors’ songs, pirates’ procession, fireworks etc.
Market every Saturday and Wednesdays in high season.
Several places to hire bicycles, mountain bikes and scooters. Around 11.5 km of cycle routes in the resort.
For children: crèche and nursery, Sailing School (beginner’s lessons for 3-7 year olds) and horse-riding centre (farm animal tour).
During school holidays, various children’s workshops (model-making, handicrafts, face painting etc.).

By road:
A11 ‘L’Océane’ motorway to Rennes then follow directions for Auray/Quiberon. On arriving at Quiberon, take the turning at the 2nd roundabout: the residence is 300 m from the roundabout.
By train:
Direct TGV (high-speed train) from Paris Montparnasse to Auray. In July and August: connections to Quiberon by TER (express regional train). At other times of the year, connections by bus.
By air:
Lorient / Lann Bihoué airport.
