TRANSPORT CONNECTIONS
The Great West Road is within easy access of Chiswick High Road
providing easy access both eastwards into central London and
westwards via the M4. The M4 provides excellent routes to both
Heathrow Airport and the M25, and onwards to most other major
motorway networks.
Gunnersbury Underground station is within walking distance.
Turnham Green, a short walk away, is on the District Line which
is a short hop to the lively shops/pubs/restaurants at Ealing
Broadway and Richmond, or a fifteen minute ride into central
London (zone 1).
Chiswick is well served by buses, destinations include: Notting
Hill, Oxford Street, Fulham Broadway, Camden Town, Twickenham
and Hampton Court,
The famous Royal
Botanical Gardens at Kew are within easy driving distance or via the Underground
(District Line) to Kew
Gardens. Richmond Park is well worth a visit (nearest gate Sheen Gate). Well
known for its' free roaming red and fallow deer and miles of open park land and
gardens is ideal for a summer picnic. Alternatively push bikes can be hired from
The Roehampton Gate car park.
The apartments are one minutes walk from Gunnersbury mainline and underground
station. One can travel to:-
Central Richmond via the district line in just six minutes! Feltham is less than
15 minutes changing at Richmond
Twickenham is 10 minutes away changing at Richmond (just two stops each train)
Wimbledon in 35 minutes change over at Earls Court only. (Think Tennis coming
up!) ..and Central London is of course at your door with the underground being
at Gunnersbury too.
