Three bedroom in the Financial district in a loft building
Location: Manhattan, Financial district, Fulton street at Nassau. Between world trade centre and South street Seaport.
Building: pre-war building, the apartment is on the 6th floor of a 6 story building. There is an intercom system. There is also an elevator. There is laundry facility around the block.
Size: 3-bedroom loft, 1 bathroom. Approx. 1600 sq. feet
The entrance is to the living room. It has a large desk, a futon couch, and a large projector screen television with DVD and VCR connections. The couch is also a sleeping couch it unfolds and fits 2 people. Just off the living room behind a screen is the master bedroom area, which contains a king sized bed. The room has two large windows that face out to the street.
The second bedroom is just down the hall from the living room and is suitable for 2 toddlers / babies. It has a crib as well as a toddler bed and there could be added a couch which fits two people. The room has a window, which is high up and faces out to the hallway. It lets in light from the loft windows along the hallway.
There are mattresses available for a guest and kids rooms.
The eat-in kitchen is then just down the hall and is fully stocked including a microwave, dishwasher, stove and refrigerator. There is also a coffee maker, toaster and plenty of dishes, utensils and pots.
The final bedroom is around the corner from the kitchen. It is about 125 square feet. It has a private entrance into it. The daybed has an extra mattress underneath. Two people could stay in this room.
The apartment has a washing machine, which is European style and can dry as well, though the owner also has drying racks.
Neighbourhood: 5 minutes away from south street seaport, and the east river, 10 minutes to battery park and Hudson river. 2 minutes to city hall. Train stop is around the block, 4, 5, 2, 3 lines. The financial district is historical, at walking distance of the famous Wall Street, Trinity church and St Paul’s church. South street sea port sight seeing, Soho and Chinatown are at walking distance. Also closed distance to UA Battery Park cinema complex.
