Two bedroom apartment in the East Village.
This contemporary two- bedroom apartment is located on East 11th Street between Avenue A and Avenue B in the East Village. It measures approximately 1000 sq. ft. and can accommodate up to six guests. It is situated on the ground floor of a post-war building and with great features such as a private garden.
Enter the apartment you arrive in the living room. The large window has safety guards. It is furnished with a sofa bed and a full-sized futon sofa bed that sleeps two. There is a large TV with cable, VCR and a stereo system. The wooden table adjacent to the sofa is used as a desk, with little bookcases with interesting literature.
The dining table with four chairs is situated next to the piano and to the open kitchen, which features all amenities. Dishwasher, microwave, stove, fridge, coffee maker, toaster and lots of cooking utensils. Laundry facilities are available in the laundry room containing a washer and a dryer.
The first bedroom has a full sized bed. The sheets are provided. There is AC available. The closet here will be available to the guests. The master bedroom features a full-sized bed. An arm chair in the corner next to the door leading you to the lovely private garden, where you may have barbecues.
The phone is available for local calls and long distance calls. The floors are wooden and you will occasionally find pictures and paintings.
Neighbourhood: The East Village is known for its artists and community flavour. There is a wonderful mixture of bodegas (small Latino-owned shops), green-grocers (run by Korean families), and an excellent health food store (Commodities) for food shopping. But, you'll probably want to eat out almost every night because of the range of affordable restaurants on Avenue B (now known as Bistro Row) and Avenue A. They range from nouveau Indian to vegetarian to country French to Pan Asian. And, there are the "classics" like Viselka (Ukranian) and 2nd Avenue Deli (Jewish/Eastern European), five minutes away. This community is full of interesting house ware and gift shops along 9th street, Avenue A and 1st Avenue.

The East Village is home to some of the most interesting arts and community organization-- PS 122 (Performance Space), Theatre for the New City, Context Studio and there is no shortage of archive, independent and commercial movie houses.
