The apartment is a modest and basic well lived-in two-bedroom that measures approximately 750 square feet, on the 2nd floor. There are white walls, parquet wood floors, and simple style furniture. It can accommodate 4 people and it's quite inexpensive for the size and location of it.
This brick building is located on a tree-lined street in Midtown West. The building has a canopy on the front door and a full-time doorman. There is an elevator and laundry facilities in the building.
Upon entering the living room, there is a sofa bed, a coffee table, a matching end table next to the sofa, a wall of closets, and a floor lamp. Along one wall is a rectangular dining table with four chairs. For your entertainment there is a basic stereo, a TV with cable, and a VCR. The separate kitchen is equipped with a microwave, a dishwasher, and an assortment of cooking utensils. There is an ample amount of counter space and storage cabinets.
The master bedroom has a brass queen-size bed. There is a dresser and plenty of closet space. The large window faces north allowing plenty of light for the plants in the room. The second bedroom has a full size bed. It serves as a home office as well. The apartment has one bathroom that is finished in gray and white tiles with a bathtub and shower, a sink, a mirrored medicine cabinet, and a toilet.
In the Times Square area are many Broadway and off-Broadway theaters. A variety of food shops and restaurants line Ninth Avenue. There is everything from the basic New York deli to the upscale restaurants. Transportation is easily accessible with buses going uptown, downtown, and cross-town, all within a couple of blocks. The closest subway is the C and E trains on 50th Street and Eighth Avenue.

Chelsea: Within the boundaries of this revitalized neighbourhood (29th Street to the north, 14th Street to the south, Fifth Avenue to the east and the Hudson River to the west), you'll find the Joyce Theatre for dance, the Empire Diner for 24-hour eats, and the Chelsea Pier Sports and Entertainment Complex.
