 Location is in Palermo, on the ground floor of a Liberty-style villa on a hill overlooking Palermo, Monte Pellegrino and the sea. In open countryside but at the same time so close to the town (just a few minutes by car) this apartment is perfect either to enjoy peace, space, beauty on the grounds of the private villa with the nice pool and the garden, either to visit central Palermo and its monuments ( 15 minutes away for the historic center). Being so close to the main artery that leads to the highway, guests can also enjoy daily trips to Monreale, Cefalù, Caccamo, Solunto, Segesta, Mozia, Erice, Trapani, Agrigento, Selinunte, Piazza Armerina, Caltagirone ecc. and to a variety of beaches along the coast. The apartment of about 80 sq. meters has been completely renovated into a charming vacation apartment suitable for 2-3 couples or for a family, it is very good for 6. The colours of the interiors are in accord to the warm colour of the villa. On the floor old ceramics tiles are mixed with Italian "cotto", furnishing are either modern and antique, and so comfortable too, and the atmosphere is that typical of Sicilian houses of the same period. The very helpful owner, that speaks a quite good English, lives in the villa and is at the complete disposal of the clients. She will meet guests on arrival and show how everything works into the apartment, give maps, suggest itineraries, where to shop, what to visit.
Amenities All facilities including grocery, bar, bakery, pizzeria, are within a 5 minutes drive downhill. Palermo airport is at 30 minutes drive. Private parking is available for two car spaces. The apartment has views of the garden with is specimen plantings. The outdoor area is nice and peaceful, guest can use to eat in Summer the private external patio furnished with seats, table and a big umbrella and enjoy the garden all around or the large terrace upon the apartment with the panorama of Palermo and the view of the garden and the mounting behind. All around lemon, oranges , mandarins and nectarine trees. The villa has a lovely fenced pool, which is very safety for children, with changing cabin and hot shower. Beach towels are provided. Pool is given in private exclusive use to the guests from 9 a.m. to 14 p.m. The garden all around is fenced too. Cook is not included and can be given at additional cost of 20 Euros per hour and must be reserved on booking. At additional cost of 15 Euro per hour it is possible to have a maid that comes daily to clean. Amenities includes also a washing machine and telephone (that is shared with the main villa and can be used only for local calls). Children are not accepted under 5 years.
