What is an Un-serviced/Privately owned apartment?

Better value for money if you do not require chambermaid service. More privacy in your own home away from home.
Usually owned by an individual property investor or  private owner who may be away either on holiday or occasionally use the accommodation as a pied-à-terre.  These owners would rather rent the apartment during their absence than leaving it empty. The apartments are more reasonably priced than the aparthotels  and Hotels as they do not incur the excess overhead expenses such as  maid service, 24 hour reception, staff or other overheads expenses. On some occasions the price may include maid service however this is very unusual. Special arrangements are made for keys collection, meet and greet or airport collection and are chargeable and the amount charged is variable as it is dictated by the landlord , their agents or the key holder. Security damages deposit will be required  and is payable  on arrival  to the key holder or prior arrival. Supplement charges should be indicated when on the rates page if applicable.
